Healing starts with clearing patterns that we have developed which have brought about stress, pain, and dis-ease. For example, in relationships we are always sending out messages, a constant dance of energies. Thoughts and feelings which we send out, together with those sent out by the other person, make up the emotions of the relationship.
To keep the relationship clear of emotional strain we have to clear out whatever has been bottled up inside. Everything we keep a lid on will need to surface and confront us, and if we cannot accept it in ourselves, it will come to us by means of another who acts it out for us as a mirror.
Conditioning from the past has brought us to the here and now. We have accumulated patterns of behaviour and strategies to protect ourselves and cope with life. These may now not be serving us well. On a physical level emotions such as fear, anger, resentment, etc., can cause stress and stress related illnesses. On an energetic level they can create cords and attachments which block the life giving flow of energy which forms our aura (see Chakra Healing Meditations). Sometimes we need a little help to get to the core of the problem.
Signals are all there to show you ‘you’ until you finally understand ‘yourself’. To ‘heal yourself’ is to let in the spirit of the creative force, your spirit, body, mind, emotions and feelings. The love you give or deny yourself will meet you in your encounter with another.
